Description
This charming little shape of a boar is exquisite in terms of composition, size and state of preservation. The boar is stretched out and poised to leap forward; and though small, the details of the animal’s head, eyes, mane, body and tail are striking. The surface is covered with a beautiful dark green patina, which contrasts with the vivid colours of the red and blue decorative glass in-lays covering its body.
